About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a new app store release that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and tune the cloud environment that will power the launch. The role focuses on aligning infrastructure with mobile performance goals while keeping costs and operational overhead low.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS resources (VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) for the mobile backend.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker and native AWS tools.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and auto‑scaling to meet app store traffic spikes.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure API latency meets UX targets.
• Document infrastructure decisions and handover procedures.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization.
• Hands‑on DevOps practices and automation.
• Solid Linux system administration.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile backend patterns (GraphQL, REST).
• Familiarity with serverless frameworks.
• Knowledge of security best practices for public APIs.
