Python Backend Developer Needed for Auth Service Build Initiative

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform releases. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate delivery cycles while maintaining code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop reusable Python modules for build, test, and deployment orchestration.
• Integrate GitHub Actions or GitLab CI with existing Docker and Kubernetes workflows.
• Create RESTful endpoints to trigger pipeline stages and report status.
• Write unit and integration tests for automation code and ensure high coverage.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA engineers to troubleshoot pipeline failures.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python proficiency with Django or Flask experience.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL schema design and migrations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Previous work on platform automation for SaaS products.
