About the role

Harbor Softworks is modernizing its test automation suite to cut regression risk before each launch. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and integrate robust automation frameworks that feed directly into our CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable Python services for test orchestration
• Develop RESTful endpoints to trigger and report automated test runs
• Integrate with existing CI/CD tools and enhance reporting dashboards
• Write clean, maintainable code with full test coverage
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to align automation goals

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Django for building APIs
• Deep understanding of REST API design and security
• Hands‑on with PostgreSQL schema design and optimization

Nice to have

• Experience with test frameworks like pytest or Robot Framework
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
• Knowledge of CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
