Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement game mechanics, including character movement, camera systems, and user interfaces
• Develop and optimize game performance, ensuring a seamless gaming experience across various devices and platforms
• Create 3D models, textures, and animations using Unity and other relevant software
• Collaborate with the design team to create engaging and interactive gameplay experiences
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry-standard best practices
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that the team's codebase is of high quality and maintainable
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying and addressing bugs and performance problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, plugins, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our games and development processes
• Communicate effectively with the team, providing regular updates on project progress and collaborating to achieve shared goals
• Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our games meet the highest standards of quality
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, technical notes, and user manuals
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the art team to create visually stunning and engaging game environments
• Develop and implement game features, including gameplay mechanics, AI, and physics

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Unity game development, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, with experience in React and NodeJS
• Strong understanding of Unity features, including physics, graphics, and animation
• Experience with game development pipelines, including version control systems and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, with a high degree of self-motivation and discipline
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Experience with game development software, including Unity, Maya, and Blender
• Certification in Unity game development, or a related field, is an asset
• Strong understanding of game design principles, including game mechanics, level design, and user experience
