Key Responsibilities

• Editing and retouching images to the highest standard, ensuring they are suitable for various mediums including print, digital, and web.
• Collaborating with the design and art direction teams to conceptualize and develop visual ideas that meet and exceed client expectations.
• Utilizing expert knowledge of color correction, skin retouching, and composting to create flawless images.
• Working under tight deadlines to deliver high-quality images without compromising on detail or quality.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and techniques in image editing and applying this knowledge to enhance our visual content.
• Ensuring all edited images are optimized for web use, considering size, format, and resolution for efficient loading without compromising on quality.
• Participating in creative brainstorming sessions to contribute image editing ideas and solutions.
• Quality controlling all visual outputs to ensure they align with our brand's aesthetic and standards.
• Providing training and guidance to junior team members on image editing best practices and techniques.
• Managing and organizing files and folders on our server, ensuring easy access and retrieval of edited images.
• Keeping abreast of new features and updates in image editing software, particularly Adobe Photoshop, and applying this knowledge to streamline our editing processes.
• Communicating effectively with the team and clients to understand project requirements and deliverables, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Developing and implementing efficient workflows to meet project deadlines and improve team productivity.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, with at least 3 years of professional experience in image editing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of edited images with different styles and complexities.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
• Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with MAC operating systems and ability to work efficiently on them.
• Knowledge of digital asset management systems and experience with organizing and retrieving large volumes of images.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to image editing software.
• Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards feedback and constructive criticism.
• Certification in Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in digital imaging and editing.
