About the role

We are seeking a skilled GraphQL API Developer to design and implement a robust GraphQL layer for our new product platform. The project focuses on creating a high‑performance API that consolidates data from multiple internal services and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a GraphQL schema that reflects business requirements.
• Integrate existing REST endpoints and microservices into the GraphQL layer.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and rate‑limiting mechanisms.
• Optimize queries for performance and scalability.
• Write comprehensive documentation and unit tests.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to ensure seamless data consumption.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with GraphQL and schema design.
• Proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of REST API integration.
• Familiarity with authentication standards (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with performance tuning and caching strategies.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP).
