Key Responsibilities

• Develop original, innovative logo concepts based on client briefs, focusing on simplicity, scalability, and versatility.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design preferences, goals, and brand identity, ensuring designs meet their vision and expectations.
• Utilize design principles, color theory, and typography to create aesthetically pleasing logos that effectively communicate the client's message and resonate with their target audience.
• Design and refine logo prototypes, presenting these to clients and incorporating their feedback into the design process.
• Ensure all logos are designed with adaptability in mind, including various formats for web and print use (e.g., vector formats like SVG and EPS, high-resolution JPEG or PNG for web).
• Prepare and present design concepts to clients, articulating the rationale behind each design decision.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest design trends, technologies, and software to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas, provide feedback, and support colleagues in achieving project goals.
• Craft style guides for logos, outlining usage, color variations, and placement best practices to ensure brand consistency across all client touchpoints.
• Work with the project management team to ensure timely delivery of design assets and to maintain open communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our design services and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design software, especially Adobe Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in logo design, including examples of creating custom typography and vector graphics.
• Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage client relationships.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with design systems, accessibility guidelines, and universal design principles.
• Knowledge of branding principles and how logos contribute to a brand's overall identity and marketing strategy.
