Key Responsibilities

  • Format documents according to client specifications, including font, margins, and layout
  • Edit documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Work closely with the content team to prepare and edit documents
  • Use formatting software such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat to prepare and edit documents
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality documents on time
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that documents are accurate and consistent
  • Develop and implement style guides and formatting standards for documents
  • Conduct research to ensure that documents are accurate and up-to-date
  • Use data entry skills to enter information into documents and spreadsheets
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of client documents and information

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in document preparation and editing, or a related field
  • Excellent formatting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, and other formatting software
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to proofread documents for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality documents on time
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with other team members
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide timely and professional responses to client inquiries
  • Strong data entry skills, with the ability to enter information into documents and spreadsheets accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to conduct research and ensure that documents are accurate and up-to-date
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, degree in English, Communications, or a related field preferred
