Cybersecurity Analyst – End-to-End Threat Mitigation

About the role

LumenWorks is launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to define security foundations, assess threats, and embed controls from day one. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and compliance leads to ensure a secure launch.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for the new platform
• Design and implement security monitoring, logging, and alerting pipelines
• Develop hardening guidelines for Linux containers and cloud services
• Perform code reviews focused on security best practices
• Collaborate on incident response playbooks and run tabletop exercises

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network security, encryption, and IAM
• Hands‑on experience securing Linux‑based SaaS environments
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty
• Experience with CI/CD security tooling (e.g., SAST, DAST)
• Knowledge of zero‑trust architecture principles
