About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and harden automated delivery pipelines that meet strict security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrate security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, container image scanning) into pipelines.
• Automate secret management and least‑privilege IAM policies.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security checks early in the build process.
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge transfer.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building secure CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Hands‑on with security tooling (e.g., Trivy, Checkov, Snyk).
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python).

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless security patterns.
• Certifications such as AWS Security or DevSecOps.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI, SOC2).
