About the role

Keystone Digital is driving a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to shrink release cycles. We need a REST API Developer who can design, implement, and optimise services that power automated pipelines and deployment tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust RESTful endpoints supporting CI/CD workflows
• Integrate API services with GitOps, Docker, and Kubernetes orchestration
• Automate testing and validation steps within the release pipeline
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed monitoring and alerting
• Document API contracts and versioning strategy for internal teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous patterns
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimisation
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)
