Full Stack Developer Needed for E-commerce Platform

About the role

Harbor Softworks is gearing up for a high‑visibility app store launch and needs a Full Stack Developer to bridge mobile front‑ends with robust backend services. You will own the integration layer that synchronizes user data across iOS, Android, and our cloud APIs, ensuring a seamless experience for early adopters.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the "PulseSync" module that handles real‑time data exchange between React Native mobile clients and Node.js APIs.
• Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated testing, linting, and containerized deployments to AWS ECS.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and write migration scripts to support upcoming feature flags.
• Collaborate with the mobile team to define API contracts using OpenAPI and generate TypeScript clients.
• Conduct performance profiling with Chrome DevTools and New Relic, fixing latency bottlenecks before the beta release.
• Document code standards and handover procedures for the post‑launch maintenance phase.

Must-have skills

• Proficient in React (including React Native) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong Node.js experience with Express or Fastify frameworks.
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL knowledge, including query optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests with Jest.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and ECS.
• Knowledge of GraphQL for flexible data fetching.
