Cybersecurity Analyst Needed for Security Audit

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to strengthen our cloud and network defenses. You will work closely with the engineering team to identify threats, perform risk assessments, and implement security controls for a fast‑growing SaaS product.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration tests on cloud infrastructure
• Analyze security logs, investigate incidents, and produce remediation reports
• Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python
• Collaborate on security architecture design and hardening of Linux servers
• Provide guidance on best practices for secure code and configuration management

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS
• Hands‑on experience with Linux security hardening
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of SIEM solutions and incident response frameworks
