Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CircleCI
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of code changes, automated testing, and deployment to production environments
• Develop and maintain scripts for automated testing, deployment, and rollback of software applications
• Optimize pipeline performance, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing fixes as needed
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient and secure deployment of software applications
• Develop and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines, including diagrams, workflows, and troubleshooting guides
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code changes meet high standards of quality, security, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and maintain metrics and reporting for pipeline performance, including deployment frequency, lead time, and mean time to recovery
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements, implementing controls and procedures as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for production environments
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and knowledge transfer to help them grow in their roles

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality, security, and performance
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Certifications in DevOps, CI/CD, or related fields are highly desirable
