You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing other bookkeeping tasks as required. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Prepare invoices and manage client accounts.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including inputting financial data into our accounting software.
  • Collaborate with our team members to prepare financial reports and statements.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track financial data and trends.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to management.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to other team members as required.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
