Position Overview:

We're seeking a creative Logo Designer and Branding Expert for a fixed-term project (1-2 months). You'll be responsible for creating our complete brand identity from scratch, including logo design, color palette, typography, and brand guidelines. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the visual identity of an innovative company.

Key Deliverables:

Logo Design (40%)

- Create 3-5 initial logo concepts with different design approaches

- Refine selected concept based on feedback (up to 3 revision rounds)

- Deliver final logo in multiple formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PNG, JPG)

- Provide various logo versions (full color, monochrome, black & white)

- Create responsive logo variations for different sizes and applications

- Design favicon and app icon versions

Brand Identity Development (35%)

- Define brand color palette (primary, secondary, accent colors)

- Select and recommend typography (headings, body text, special use)

- Create brand style guide document

- Design business card templates

- Create letterhead and email signature templates

- Develop social media profile image templates

- Design basic marketing collateral templates

Brand Guidelines Documentation (25%)

- Document logo usage guidelines and restrictions

- Create visual examples of correct and incorrect usage

- Define spacing, sizing, and placement rules

- Specify color codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK, Pantone)

- Provide typography specifications and pairings

- Include brand voice and personality guidelines

- Create a comprehensive brand book (15-25 pages)

Must-Have Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional logo design and branding experience

- Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity projects

- Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

- Solid understanding of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign

- Knowledge of design principles, color theory, and typography

- Experience creating vector-based logos

- Understanding of brand strategy and positioning

- Ability to present and explain design concepts

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with tech startup branding

- Knowledge of modern design trends

- Familiarity with motion graphics for logo animation

- Understanding of web and mobile design constraints
