Senior DevSecOps Engineer Needed for Cloud Security

About the role

CloudWave Digital is seeking a senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead security integration for a critical cloud migration project. You will embed security controls directly into CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance across the entire development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated security testing within build pipelines.
• Configure and manage container security scanning for Docker images.
• Integrate vulnerability management tools with AWS services.
• Collaborate with developers to remediate findings quickly.
• Establish policy-as-code for infrastructure provisioning.
• Monitor and audit security events in production environments.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Deep knowledge of container security and Docker hardening.
• Proficiency in AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and compliance frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for secure IaC.
• Familiarity with threat modeling and security incident response.
