About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building a next‑generation analytics platform to turn raw data into actionable insights. We need a senior Data Scientist to design and implement predictive models that drive product recommendations and customer segmentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine‑learning pipelines using Python.
• Engineer data extraction and transformation workflows from PostgreSQL databases.
• Collaborate with product teams to define model requirements and success metrics.
• Perform feature engineering, model validation, and performance tuning.
• Document methodology and create reproducible code for future iterations.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming for data science.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs to serve model predictions.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine‑learning algorithms.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript for data visualization integration.
• Familiarity with cloud‑based ML platforms.
