About the role

TechFlow Inc is building a real‑time analytics platform to support rapid decision‑making across its product lines. We need a senior Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store high‑volume event streams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable ETL processes using Python and Airflow.
• Design and maintain data models in PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Optimize query performance and storage costs on AWS.
• Collaborate with data scientists to provide clean, reliable datasets.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing.
• Strong SQL expertise with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and pipeline architecture.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for deployment.
