About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and automate the delivery workflow from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the infrastructure that powers continuous integration, testing, and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable CI/CD pipeline on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments via Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance checks into the pipeline
• Collaborate with developers to define build standards and release strategies
• Document pipeline processes and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for SaaS products
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Strong DevOps mindset with scripting/automation expertise
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Background in security‑focused pipeline integrations
