Node.js Developer for Queue Worker Setup

About the role

We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. As a Node.js Developer you will design, implement, and validate security controls across our services, ensuring compliance and resilience against emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Node.js codebases for security flaws and recommend mitigations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and input validation mechanisms
• Integrate security libraries and configure secure headers, CSP, and CORS
• Write automated tests to verify security posture and regression safety
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security checks into CI pipelines

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express
• Deep understanding of JavaScript security best practices
• Proficiency building and securing REST API services
• Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and common attack vectors

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of container security and Docker
• Background in penetration testing or security audits
