Lead Cloud Security Architect – Access Control Design

About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Architect to design and implement robust security frameworks for its multi‑cloud environment. You will lead the security strategy, ensuring compliance and protecting critical assets across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Design secure network architectures, including VPC, subnetting, and firewall configurations.
• Implement identity and access management controls, role‑based access, and MFA solutions.
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security audits for cloud workloads.
• Integrate security tooling (e.g., CSPM, CWPP) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide guidance and training to development and operations teams on secure cloud practices.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
• Proven experience designing security architectures for multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and zero‑trust principles.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD integration.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex security concepts to stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or CISSP.
• Experience with container security platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
