About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight integration between mobile front‑ends and backend services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the cloud environment that will power the release.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable AWS resources (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) for mobile API workloads.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Docker and native AWS tooling to automate deployments.
• Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure API contracts, latency targets, and security standards are met.
• Monitor performance, set up alerts, and optimise cost‑efficiency during peak launch traffic.
• Document infrastructure diagrams and operational runbooks.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Docker containerisation and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps mindset with automated testing and deployment.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting abilities.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (GraphQL, REST).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile data.
