Android Developer Needed for Automated Cross-Platform App Build

About the role

We are accelerating our release cadence by building a robust CI/CD pipeline for our Android suite. The Android Developer will help automate builds, tests, and deployments, ensuring faster, reliable releases for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Gradle‑based CI pipelines on GitHub Actions or Bitrise
• Integrate automated unit, UI, and instrumented tests into the pipeline
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to define release gates and versioning strategy
• Maintain build scripts, fastlane configurations, and artifact storage
• Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot failures

Must-have skills

• 2+ years developing native Android apps
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, CircleCI)
• Familiarity with fastlane, Gradle, and automated testing frameworks

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Docker containers for build isolation
• Experience with Firebase App Distribution
• Understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and modern Android architecture components
