About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a security hardening initiative for its suite of cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to fortify the user interface layer of our new "SecureVue" module, ensuring robust authentication flows and encrypted data handling.

Key responsibilities

• Implement multi‑factor authentication UI components using Vue 3 and Pinia.
• Integrate CSP and CORS headers into the front‑end build pipeline with Vite.
• Audit and refactor existing Vue components to eliminate XSS vulnerabilities.
• Set up automated security regression tests with Cypress and OWASP ZAP.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to embed JWT token refresh mechanisms.
• Deliver a final security review report and demo within the two‑week sprint.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Vue.js (Vue 2/3) and state management (Vuex/Pinia).
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) knowledge and modern CSS practices.
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of web security standards (CSP, CORS, XSS mitigation).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests with Jest or Cypress.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript in Vue projects.
• Background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IAM services.
