Terraform Engineer Needed for Release Pipeline Hardening Engagement

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a focused sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Terraform Engineer who can design, implement, and refine infrastructure-as-code pipelines that support rapid, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Terraform modules for multi‑account AWS environments
• Integrate Terraform workflows into existing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Automate environment provisioning, state management, and drift detection
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure checks into pull‑request pipelines
• Document patterns and create reusable templates for future sprints

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Terraform in production AWS setups
• Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts and tooling
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda)
• Ability to write clean, modular HCL and troubleshoot state issues

Nice to have

• Experience with Terragrunt or Terraform Cloud
• Familiarity with container orchestration (ECS, EKS)
• Background in scripting languages like Python or Bash
