About the role

BrightMart Solutions is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to embed security throughout the software delivery pipeline for a high‑profile e‑commerce platform. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate security checks, enforce compliance, and reduce risk while maintaining rapid release cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines with integrated security testing.
• Automate vulnerability scanning, container hardening, and secret management.
• Collaborate with developers to embed secure coding practices.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for misconfigurations and respond to alerts.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules for secure resource provisioning.
• Document security standards and provide training to engineering teams.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Deep knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially AWS security services.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanners and IaC security tools.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty or Certified DevSecOps Engineer.
• Experience with compliance frameworks like PCI‑DSS or ISO 27001.
