About the role

Cascade Apps is building a next‑generation AI‑driven analytics platform. We need an AI Machine Learning Engineer to lead a test‑automation uplift that will dramatically lower regression risk before each product launch. The work focuses on embedding robust validation into our model‑training pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using PyTest and Great Expectations.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to trigger model regression tests on every commit.
• Develop synthetic data generators to stress‑test model robustness across edge cases.
• Collaborate with data scientists to define performance thresholds and rollback criteria.
• Document test results in a centralized dashboard built with Grafana.
• Deliver a final test‑automation report and recommendations for continuous improvement before the next launch cycle.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming for ML workflows.
• Experience with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit‑learn.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML models.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and data validation tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot model performance regressions quickly.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MLOps platforms like MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).
