Python Backend Developer Needed for Legacy System Migration Overhaul

About the role

We are launching an integration project to unify our billing system, CRM, and internal APIs. As a Python Backend Developer you will design and implement the glue code that ensures seamless data flow and real‑time synchronization across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build RESTful services that connect billing, CRM, and internal services
• Write clean, testable Python code using Django and async patterns where appropriate
• Design PostgreSQL schemas to support transactional integrity and reporting
• Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for all integration points
• Collaborate with front‑end, DevOps, and product teams to define integration requirements

Must-have skills

• 3+ years of Python backend development
• Deep experience with Django REST framework
• Strong SQL skills, especially PostgreSQL
• Proven ability to design and consume REST APIs

Nice to have

• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication flows
