About the role

Stellar Services is launching a new data‑driven platform and needs a Python Backend Developer to design and implement core services. You will work closely with product and front‑end teams to deliver robust APIs that power key features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django
• Integrate PostgreSQL databases and ensure optimal query performance
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews
• Collaborate on architecture decisions and technical documentation

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP)
