About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our agile team and build robust services for a new SaaS platform. The project focuses on designing and implementing high‑performance APIs that will power real‑time data processing and integration with third‑party tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
• Implement database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
• Optimize performance and scalability of backend services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts.
• Maintain clear documentation of endpoints and data models.

Must-have skills

• Proficient in NodeJS and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
• Hands‑on knowledge of building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and unit tests.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Understanding of message queues or event‑driven architectures.
