About the role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to build and enhance a high‑performance microservice that powers our core SaaS platform. The project focuses on designing robust APIs, optimizing data flow, and ensuring scalability for upcoming feature releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using NodeJS.
• Develop database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
• Integrate third‑party services and handle authentication flows.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee code quality.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to define data contracts.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Must-have skills

• Proficient in NodeJS and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
• Hands‑on knowledge of REST API design and security best practices.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or container orchestration.
• Knowledge of message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
