Cybersecurity Analyst Needed for Mission-Critical IAM Hardening

About the role

Silverline Labs is preparing a major app store release and needs a Cybersecurity Analyst to align mobile and backend security controls. You will work closely with developers to embed threat modeling, secure API design, and data protection into the release pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments on mobile code and backend services
• Design and implement security controls for API authentication and encryption
• Conduct penetration testing and code reviews for security flaws
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security scans into CI/CD
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of mobile security frameworks and backend hardening
• Hands‑on experience with Python for scripting security checks
• Proficiency in Linux system administration and hardening
• Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 and API security standards

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app security testing tools (e.g., MobSF)
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) for backend services
• Certifications such as OSCP or CISSP
