About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its operations data flow. We need a TypeScript Developer to design and extend a data pipeline that feeds analytics dashboards for our ops teams. You will work closely with data engineers and product owners to ensure reliable, real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement TypeScript services that ingest, transform, and route operational data.
• Integrate with existing cloud storage and streaming platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Kafka).
• Build reusable libraries for data validation and enrichment.
• Collaborate on API design and documentation for downstream analytics tools.
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee pipeline robustness.

Must-have skills

• Strong TypeScript proficiency and experience with Node.js.
• Hands‑on work with data pipelines or ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Angular or React for internal tooling.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON schema.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and serverless functions.
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
