Senior Docker Kubernetes Specialist – DevOps Automation

About the role

TechFlow Inc is scaling its micro‑services platform and needs a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and optimize container orchestration across cloud environments. You will work closely with developers and SREs to ensure reliable, secure, and performant services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters for production workloads
• Create and maintain Docker images, Helm charts, and CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor cluster health, perform scaling, and troubleshoot runtime issues
• Enforce security best practices and resource quotas
• Document deployment processes and share knowledge with the team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of container networking, storage, and security
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Helm, Terraform) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux environments

Nice to have

• Familiarity with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Background in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
