About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a brand‑new SaaS product from scratch. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate the entire infrastructure pipeline for a remote‑first team.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable AWS environments using IaC
• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for microservices
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate on Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production readiness
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and compliance early

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes cluster management
• Hands‑on CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Automation scripting in Bash/Python

Nice to have

• Experience with GitOps workflows
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
• Background in observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
