About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new product line and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to elevate test automation. The focus is on reducing regression risk before each release by integrating robust automated testing into the delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend CI/CD workflows to embed automated regression suites.
• Containerize test environments using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Implement scalable pipelines on AWS, leveraging services like CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage metrics.
• Monitor pipeline health and continuously improve reliability.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Understanding of regression testing strategies and metrics.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
• Background in microservices architectures.
