About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a new SaaS platform and needs a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain test suites for core features. You will work closely with developers to ensure high‑quality releases throughout the short‑term project.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and JavaScript.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Collaborate with developers to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects in the issue tracking system.
• Maintain and refactor existing test frameworks for scalability.
• Provide clear test reports and metrics to stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Solid grasp of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Ability to write clear, maintainable test code.

Nice to have

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Familiarity with performance testing concepts.
