About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and integrate automated test suites into our CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Build robust backend services for test orchestration using Django
• Develop RESTful APIs that trigger and report automated test runs
• Integrate PostgreSQL for storing test results and metrics
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to embed automation into release cycles
• Write unit and integration tests for all new code

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL database work
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test automation concepts

Nice to have

• Experience with pytest or similar testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Docker containerization
• Background in performance testing or load simulation
