Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale web applications using PHP and related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and quality assurance engineers
• Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities, and ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards
• Participate in code reviews, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with the support team to resolve customer complaints
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development, and apply this knowledge to improve our web applications and services
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and API documentation
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with the devops team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our web applications
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests to ensure high-quality code and adherence to testing standards
• Participate in pairing and mentoring junior developers, and contribute to the growth and development of our team
• Stay flexible and adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, and ensure that our web applications meet the needs and expectations of our clients

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP, including PHP 7.x and above, and experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• Experience with MySQL, including database design, development, and optimization
• Strong understanding of web development principles, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and back-end frameworks such as Express.js or Symfony
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication, and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Strong understanding of web security principles, including OWASP and security best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and experience with containerization using Docker
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 3+ years of experience in web development
