Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure backend services using Python and relevant frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate backend services with web applications
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, data pipelines, and other backend components
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend services
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with backend services, including debugging and optimizing performance
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and guides for backend services
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development and apply this knowledge to improve our services
• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement automated testing for backend services
• Develop and maintain scripts for data migration, backup, and other tasks
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Contribute to the improvement of our development process and practices
• Develop and maintain technical debt and work on reducing it over time

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, with at least 3 years of experience in backend development
• Experience with relevant frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Experience with database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and API design principles
• Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Strong understanding of security principles and practices
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK
