Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and trends to inform business decisions and drive growth
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support strategic planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and developments
• Develop and implement financial planning and analysis tools and techniques
• Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, and develop strategies to minimize their impact
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Develop and implement financial training programs for employees
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide input on financial planning and strategy
• Develop and maintain financial databases and data visualizations to support decision-making
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis or related field
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex financial data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools, including Excel, financial modeling software, and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify and mitigate financial risks
• Experience with financial databases and data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
• Certification in financial planning or analysis, such as CFA or CPA, an asset
