Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, textures, and materials for various projects, ensuring high quality and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop 3D models from initial sketches to final product.
• Work closely with artists and engineers to integrate 3D models into larger scenes and animations.
• Develop and maintain libraries of 3D assets, including models, textures, and materials, for use across multiple projects.
• Utilize knowledge of lighting, shading, and rendering techniques to achieve desired visual effects.
• Participate in project planning, providing input on technical feasibility and timelines.
• Manage project files, ensuring organization, version control, and backup of all work.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, software, and technologies in 3D modeling and animation.
• Critically review and provide constructive feedback on peers' work to maintain high quality standards.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for 3D modeling within the company.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Maintain flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adjust to changing project priorities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions for project ideas and solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field such as graphic design, fine arts, or computer science, with a focus on 3D modeling and animation.
• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in 3D modeling, preferably in a professional studio or design firm.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, with a strong understanding of modeling, texturing, and lighting principles.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, composition, and visual design principles.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 3D modeling projects, including complex scenes and character models.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions.
• Familiarity with project management tools and version control systems, such as Git.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new software and technologies as the field evolves.
• English fluency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications in relevant software or fields are a plus but not required.
