Digital Photo Editing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and retouch photographs to the highest standards, ensuring they are ready for publication across various media platforms.
• Work closely with our photographers, art directors, and designers to deliver exceptional visual content that exceeds our clients' expectations.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our brand's visual aesthetic and style guidelines.
• Assist in the development of photo editing guidelines and best practices for the team.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project management.
• Utilize expertise in color correction, exposure adjustment, and noise reduction to enhance image quality.
• Apply knowledge of layering, masking, and compositing techniques to achieve desired effects.
• Use creative judgment to make technical decisions that align with the project's creative vision.
• Maintain organization, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in photo editing and retouching.
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and concepts for photo editing and visual content creation.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions to share ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on projects.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all images meet our high standards before they are delivered to clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with extensive experience in photo editing and retouching.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
• Excellent technical skills, including knowledge of layering, masking, and compositing techniques.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality and aesthetics.
• Ability to take creative direction and feedback, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
• Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, such as Lightroom and Illustrator, is an asset.
• Certification in photo editing or a related field is desirable.
