Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test backend systems using Python, Django or Flask, and other relevant technologies
• Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration and a superior user experience
• Optimize existing systems for better performance, scalability, and efficiency
• Develop and maintain databases, including data modeling, normalization, and querying
• Implement data encryption and secure data storage solutions
• Work with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of backend systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend systems
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our backend systems
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs and issues
• Contribute to the development of our technology roadmap and strategy
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Participate in pair programming and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python, Django or Flask, and relevant technologies
• Proficiency in database management systems, including data modeling and querying
• Experience with data encryption and secure data storage solutions
• Strong understanding of backend development principles, including scalability, efficiency, and performance
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex issues
• Experience with version control systems, including Git
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with testing frameworks, including PyUnit and Pytest
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
