Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for a diverse range of small business clients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets for clients, aligning with their business objectives and strategies.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide expert advice on financial planning, forecasting, and risk management to clients.
• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to identify areas for financial improvement and implement strategies for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Provide training and support to clients on financial management and accounting systems, as required.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve client services and advisory capabilities.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and initiatives within the firm, enhancing our capabilities and competitiveness in the market.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the sharing of knowledge and best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Utilize accounting software and systems to manage financial data and prepare financial reports, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all financial operations.
• Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
• Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide integrated services and support to clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax legislation, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of motivation and self-discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience in providing customer service and support, with a strong focus on client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Certification in accounting, such as CPA or CA, is highly desirable but not essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
