About the role
We are revamping the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing iOS services. The iOS App Developer will lead the effort to refactor critical code paths, improve network efficiency, and ensure a seamless user experience under load.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze existing app performance bottlenecks and design optimized solutions
- Implement robust error handling and retry mechanisms for API calls
- Refactor UI rendering logic to reduce main‑thread workload
- Collaborate with backend engineers to fine‑tune REST API interactions
- Write unit and integration tests to validate reliability improvements
- Document changes and share best practices with the team
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of iOS development with Swift
- Deep understanding of iOS memory management and concurrency
- Extensive experience consuming REST APIs efficiently
- Proven track record of performance tuning on production apps
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Instruments and Xcode profiling tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
- Knowledge of SwiftUI alongside UIKit
