Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product and need a DevOps Engineer to design the infrastructure from scratch. You will work with a remote‑first team to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure delivery pipelines for our microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS resources using IaC
• Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production services
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and performance best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Hands‑on expertise building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python)

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of security frameworks (IAM policies, Secrets Manager)
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
