About the role
Pinecrest Systems is launching a critical product and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before go‑live. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test pipelines that run in the cloud, ensuring fast feedback and high reliability for every release.
Key responsibilities
- Build CI/CD workflows in AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild for automated regression suites
- Create reusable Docker images for test environments and manage them in ECR
- Integrate test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) with cloud resources and schedule runs via EventBridge
- Monitor test health, capture metrics, and set up alerts in CloudWatch
- Collaborate with developers and QA to define test coverage and failure triage processes
Must-have skills
- Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
- Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration
- Strong DevOps mindset with infrastructure‑as‑code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Solid Linux administration and scripting abilities
Nice to have
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Knowledge of serverless testing architectures
- Familiarity with performance testing tools
