About the role

Summit Digital is launching a greenfield SaaS platform designed for fully remote teams. As a QA Automation Engineer you will shape the testing strategy for the new "Nimbus Dashboard" module, ensuring high‑quality releases from day one. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to embed automated checks into the CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end Selenium test suites for the Nimbus Dashboard UI using JavaScript and WebDriverIO.
• Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions, achieving nightly builds with instant feedback.
• Collaborate with the API team to create contract tests for the REST endpoints using Postman/Newman.
• Maintain a shared test data repository and mock services for isolated test runs.
• Track flaky tests, refine selectors, and improve test stability during the two‑week sprint cycles.
• Produce concise test reports and dashboards for stakeholders via Grafana.

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of automation experience with Selenium or WebDriverIO.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js for test scripting.
• Hands‑on CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
• Understanding of REST API testing and JSON schema validation.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to work in a remote‑first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
• Familiarity with containerized test environments (Docker).
